Risk Assessment Models

Risk assessment modeling uses computer models to evaluate the ecological systems that are affected by invasive species. The following four areas are currently being modeled by CAISN:

Modeling risk of international ships

Colin Levings, Mark Lewis, Hugh MacIsaac

Modeling of invasive fish vectors

Brian Leung, Nick Mandrak

HACCP model of tunicate AIS

Jeff Davidson, Thomas Landry, Tom Therriault

Modeling establishment success of AIS in inland lakes

Shelley Arnott, Beatrix Beisner, Don Jackson, Subash Lele, Brian Leung, Mark Lewis, Norman Yan

Tunicate invasions of Prince Edward Island: optimizing monitoring strategies for early detection and assessing local dissemination of aquatic invasive species

Ladd Johnson, Brian Leung
